Welcome to Atwell Artist Management. For the right artists, we offer incredible opportunities. For the industry, we are committed to supplying only the highest quality talent. This is how we judge our performance.
For this reason our high standards are reflected in our selection of artists. And our principle of signing a limited talent pool means each and every artist really does take centre stage, with exceptional levels of service and support.
We represent those with:
- Real talent. This may be in any area of the arts. We represent a diverse range of adults and children with natural raw talent, professionally trained artists in theatre, musical theatre, film, and television.
- Dedication and hard work. Our commitment to you is that we’ll work around the clock to position you and prepare you for auditions and castings. So, we’ll expect your commitment to be second to none in return.
- Able to reflect the high professional standards of our agency. We are gaining a reputation in the industry for securing quality roles for our fabulous artists. This quality needs to be evident in your behaviour and attitude so that you represent AAM as well as we represent you.

About Atwell Artist Management
To Deborah Atwell, caring is more than an act.
For Deborah Atwell, Artist Management was born of a love for the performing arts world, but also a passion for launching the careers of talented new artists.
A former professional singer herself, Deborah once shared the stage with artists such as Heatwave, The Gypsy Kings, Lionel Richie and the Commodores. Deborah has also closely managed and guided the performing arts career of her own talented daughter.
“Having seen my daughter’s career blossom, I have been exposed to the practices of different talent management agencies. Learning from our own experience combined with my personal ethics and passion, I wanted to create an agency which has at its heart genuine care for its artists.”
Deborah has fast become a well-connected, highly successful agent, recognised for the quality of her artists and personable approach.
“In my experience, offering a supportive, mentoring approach to my artists brings out the best in them. There are so many as yet undiscovered stars. Providing the right opportunities, support and exposure for this talent are what drives me personally. It is also what underpins the culture of my agency and has led, I believe, to our success.”
Did you know?
The Atwell family talent also included Winifred Atwell, a phenomenal world renowned pianist. Recognised for her extraordinary talent and achievements including being the first black artist to have a number one hit in the UK singles chart, Winifred is still the only female instrumentalist to have done so.
What Our Artists Have To Say
I am very happy to be with AAM. Debbie Atwell really cares about each and every opportunity – and each and every client too. She even rings me to check I want to be suggested for a role.
She has held ‘workshop days ‘ where she has had experts in regarding: auditions, self tapes, showreels and even tax affairs.Philip Herbert
I feel very privileged to be represented by AAM and to have Deborah Atwell as my agent. As an AAM client, not only do I know that I can trust my agency to work hard for me, but I am also encouraged to keep making my own work; I know the agency cares about me as a person as well as a performer. I love how hands-on Deborah is, and I like knowing that she is only a phone call away, meaning my experience as a client is always completely bespoke, personal, and friendly. What’s more, in AAM, Deborah has managed to curate a family of diverse performers who are all talented and supportive of each other – this sense of community is integral to AAM.Davinia Hamilton
“Debbie Atwell is a fantastic, supportive agent. She works incredibly hard to help me forge a successful career in the industry. I couldn’t be happier with her work ethic, bubbly personality and how much she cares about me not only as a performer but as a person. I’ve been to some auditions that I never would have dreamed of being seen for.”Matthew Mulholland
“I have found Atwell Artist Management to be incredibly reliable, hardworking – who cares about their clientele and works tirelessly for them.
I joined AAM at the end of 2016 and in just 1 year I’ve come so far, thanks to the hard-work and support that the agency provides. This is an agency that not only strives to be at the top level but also gives nurturing and guidance to it’s performers, being proactive in searching for the right parts for it’s clients, whilst also connecting them to their network so that they may grow together and share experiences.”Luke Cockram
“No agency could work any harder for their clients, providing a tailored approach to career development which fits the individual needs of each client. AAM is much more than an agency; it really is a family, & mutual support & respect is very much a cornerstone of how the agency operates. Not only does Deborah have my best interests at heart professionally, but she cares deeply about each client on a personal level.”Julie Martis
