We are proud to confirm that AAM client Mikey Anthony-Howe will be starring in the world première of Julie Tsang’s Fix at The Pleasance next month.
Mikey will be playing the role of Kevin, a washing machine repairman who finds himself inexplicably drawn to an old woman and her house in the woods. What seems like a simple job becomes catalytic as a storm starts to close in on the house, and Kevin must confront his past.
Tsang’s debut play is an unsettling psychological thriller that combines East Asian and Western Influences.
The production will be directed by Jen Tan, who said: “…bringing together Tina Chiang’s wealth of experience with Mikey’s fresh new talent promises to be thrilling.” Tan has previously directed plays at the Arcola, Soho Theatre and Manchester International Festival, among others.
Fix is produced by Unbroken Theatre in association with The Pleasance and Yellow Earth Theatre.
