AAM’s very own Archie Yates will be attending the 92nd Academy Awards Ceremony on Sunday February 9.
Archie, 10, is taking a short break from filming the Home Alone reboot to attend the ceremony, which is being held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
He will be there supporting the feature film Jojo Rabbit, in which he co-starred as the lovable Yorki, that’s up for six Oscar nominations, including Best Picture.
We asked Archie how he felt about attending the Oscars. He said: “I feel great! This is an actor’s dream and I get to do it at the age of 10. It’s going to be so exciting. I can’t wait to meet my favourite actors!”
Jojo Rabbit has already won several awards since its world premiere last September, including Best Adapted Screenplay at the BAFTAs and at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards, Best Cinematography and Production Design at the Hollywood Film Awards, and the Grolsch People’s Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival.
