AAM’s Davinia Hamilton is in Malta once again, starring in L-Imbuljuta: A Panto in the Dark.
Following the success of last year’s sell-out, boundary-breaking Gawgaw: A Panto in the Dark, which was deemed “the best local show of the year” by the Times of Malta, the whole team is back with another heart-warming Christmas tale that honours Maltese culture. With just 3 days left until Christmas, and life becoming more and more expensive, a single mother needs to figure out how she’s going to pay rent this month. Could the answer lie in a traditional chestnut drink?
L-Imbuljuta is multi-sensory adventure in pitch darkness; the focus is on complete accessibility for people who are blind or visually impaired, ensuring their experience is identical to that of audience members who are sighted. Using the latest microphone technology, beautiful songs, plenty of terrific sound effects, and some skilful voice acting, the cast sets out to create a vivid picture in their audience’s imagination.
Davinia is one of a fantastic cast of just four whose voice skills makes it seem as though there is a considerably larger number of performers involved.
The show runs until December 29. For more information, click here.
